APU’s Joni Eareckson Tada Scholarship Recipients

Meet Jake, Sarah and Kenna, recipients of this year’s Joni Eareckson Tada Scholarship Award at Azusa Pacific University. Earlier this week, Ken and I traveled to APU’s campus to lunch with these exceptional young people, all of whom are enrolled in the “Disability and the Church” course this semester (our Joni and Friends’ Christian Institute on Disability helped APU design this exciting course of study)! Next week, all 16 students in the class will come to our International Disability Center for a day of learning — and I’ll get to share my testimony of Jesus’ love with them! Ken and I praise God for the many young people He is raising up to carry the Gospel torch to the world’s disabled. Learn all about it on our Christian Institute on Disability page!
