Chief Operating Officer

Jason brings over 30 years of experience working in the areas of international business, portfolio management, and leadership to his position as Chief Operating Officer (COO). He joined Joni and Friends in 2018 after retiring as a Command Master Chief from the United States Navy where he led teams and managed multiple construction projects around the world for over 20 years. At Joni and Friends, Jason has managed a diverse array of programs including Wheels for the World, Domestic and International Family Retreats, the Joni’s House Initiative, IT services and security, Global Risk Mitigation, and Travel programs. He has also led numerous strategic management and business improvement initiatives. He currently leads all global ministries, operations teams, and the Christian Institute on Disability.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Management, a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, and a Master of Science in Cyber Security Management. He is also a certified Lead Like Jesus facilitator, bringing together expertise in leadership, business, technology, and organizational effectiveness. His passion to serve the disability community is only second to his love for his faith. He feels blessed to continue serving the ministry as we help people living with disabilities find their place in the body of Christ.
