Greg Greer
Vice President, U.S. Ministries
For more than 30 years, Greg has served the Lord through business, church, and nonprofit leadership.
During the first decade of his career in the healthcare arena, Greg created and led a national sales team for a private medical manufacturer. Then following a call into vocational ministry, he served as an executive pastor for 12 years. Over the past decade, Greg has held nonprofit leadership roles in the rescue ministry field and at Joni and Friends overseeing U.S. Ministries teams.
Inspired and influenced by Christian coaches during his own collegiate athletic career, coaching has always been central to Greg’s career and work. The confluence of his business experience and ministry oversight also makes nonprofit leadership a natural fit, and it’s where his disciple-making passion is fulfilled.
Greg holds a B.S. in Chemistry, an MBA, and a Masters in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Residing in Knoxville, Tennessee, Greg and his wife Deena are parents to three adult children, Kelsey, Chandler, and Claire, and four grandchildren. Greg also serves as an elder at Emmanuel Church.
