What to know about Kenya:

Kenya is a country in East Africa with coastline on the Indian Ocean and one of the world’s magnificent wildlife destinations. Kenyan people are said to be friendly with a tender sense of community. Having a disability can limit a citizen’s accessibility to basic resources such as wheelchairs, walkers and canes. Persons with disabilities in Kenya are likely to live in poverty and be exposed to developing or transmitting disabilities. In contemporary Kenya, Christianity is the most dominant religion; an element of Christianity in Kenya is the use of music, rhythm, dancing and singing during their worship time.

Cost and Safety Protocols:

The cost for this outreach is all-inclusive; however, any pre-outreach vaccination requirements are the responsibility of each individual traveler. Outreach costs may vary for applicants outside of the 48 contiguous United States. Wheels for the World™️ will adhere to country protocols related to health and safety requirements.
