Wheels for the World™️ offers the hope of the Gospel while providing life-changing mobility to people living with disabilities worldwide. Join a Wheels for the World™️ Outreach to Guatemala! Serve with us as a Seating Therapist, Mechanic, Photojournalist, Seamstress, or in a Support role. Every team member will directly impact people living with disabilities in a life-changing way.

About Guatemala:

This captivating Central American country is bordered by Mexico, the Pacific Ocean, Belize, the Caribbean, Honduras and El Salvador. The heart of the former Mayan civilization has an area approximately the size of Tennessee. While some rights do exist for people living with disabilities in Guatemala, they fall short in protecting their basic human rights. Because of this, many families living with disability are abandoned, neglected, or treated with disrespect and abuse. On this outreach, we will reach out to people living with disability in the country of Guatemala, distributing Bibles, wheelchairs, and other mobility equipment. Experience the culture of this Latin American country and its warm and friendly people as you use your skills and abilities provide the gift of mobility.

Cost and Safety Protocols:

The cost for this outreach is all-inclusive; however, any pre-outreach vaccination requirements are the responsibility of each individual traveler. Outreach costs may vary for applicants outside of the 48 contiguous United States. Wheels for the World™️ will adhere to country protocols related to health and safety requirements.
