Gather your family and friends and join Joni and Friends Georgia for our Walk ‘N’ Roll + accessible USATF-certified 5K! This fully inclusive, accessible event is fun for all ages—a great chance to learn more about Joni and Friends, reconnect with friends across the community, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of neighbors living with disability.

When our community fundraises together, lives are changed. Thank you for helping ensure that no family living with disability walks alone. Whether you’re running the USATF-certified 5K, walking or rolling on the track, or simply swinging by for the fun, you can be part of the impact. All proceeds go straight to supporting Joni and Friends ministry in our community. Whether you fundraise solo or join family, friends, or your church community, you can work toward a shared goal—and have fun doing it!

Can’t attend in person? Fundraise from home and still make a meaningful impact.

We love celebrating the impact of our fundraising teams with these recognition milestones:

  • Teams that raise $250+ will receive Champion Bibs to wear on race day.
  • Teams that raise $500+ will receive a yard sign recognizing their support.
  • Corporate Sponsors donating $300+ may have the opportunity to feature a company logo on our Walk ‘N’ Roll T-shirt (contact us for details)!
  • Our top-fundraising household will be recognized on race day and invited to help kick off the 5K.

To register, click the “Register Now” button below. This event is FREE to attend. However, we encourage individuals and teams to fundraise in support of our mission. Once your registration is complete, you will receive a custom fundraising page that you can share with family and friends.

During registration, you will be asked to select your role for the event. The 5K is accessible to athletes of all abilities; however, those who do not wish to participate in the full 5K are welcome to enjoy our fully accessible track with friends and family as a “General Participant.”

All attendees are also invited to explore our disability resource fair and enjoy yard games! Race packet pickup will begin at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the event. The accessible USATF-5K will kick off at 9:00 a.m. Additional event-day details will be shared via email following registration.

Volunteers play a vital role in creating a joyful, welcoming race-day experience for every family. Everyone is welcome—individuals, families, student teams, or small groups! After you register, our team will connect with you to get you plugged in. Volunteer roles/opportunities include:

  • Parking attendants
  • Course guides
  • Registration table support
  • Cheer station helpers (signs, encouragement, high-fives!)
  • Water table hosts
  • Finish line and hospitality support
  • Event set-up and tear-down
