UNW Respite at Home University Affiliated Internship Spring 2024 – Comm Health 1

University of Northwestern nursing students in their fourth term will serve as Joni and Friends interns providing 24 hours of respite care to families in the Twin Cities Area during the spring semester of 2024. Respite at Home is a unique opportunity to let God use interns’ time, hands, and hearts to make an eternal difference in the life of a person with a disability. Each student will be assigned together with another student to serve an individual living with a disability for the spring term for a total of 8 visits. Interns will spend 3 consecutive hours, twice weekly with the individual in his/her home providing respite to the family.
