University Affiliated Internship Shepherds College Brazil

Interns will travel together from the United States to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where they will be trained for a three-day International Family Retreat in cooperation with “Igreja Batista Atitude,” our in-country ministry church partner. Students will put their two-day training to work serving as a one-on-one buddy for a person living with disability, or in general service to the retreat as games, art projects, and worship activities are presented. Students also will have cultural experiences in the city, visiting the Christ the Redeemer statue (one of the Seven Wonders of the World). We will worship at the host church and assist with their ministry to underprivileged children, as well as tour their facilities to observe their wide-reaching ministry.
