State Fair of Texas

Join Joni and Friends Texas for our fourth annual partnership with the State Fair of Texas! Come experience a disability-friendly time at the fair on September 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with dedicated quiet zones, dedicated volunteer buddies, and other accommodations to make the fair more accessible. The Midway will be accessible to all from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. without bright lights and sounds that can overwhelm visitors with sensory-related concerns.
Cost: Tickets may be purchased from the State Fair of Texas in advance or in person
Volunteer with Joni and Friends Texas as we co-host a disability-friendly experience at the State Fair of Texas. Together, we will serve individuals living with disability on September 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., making the fair accessible for all families. Volunteers will be paired with families to act as buddies throughout the fair visit. Training will be provided prior to family arrival. We hope to see you there!
