In-Country Corporate Internship

January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026

We accept applications at any time throughout the year.

This internship is designed specifically for interns living outside of the United States who will have the unique opportunity to gain insight into the inner workings of a non-profit, disability ministry environment.

When: One-to-six-month periods, year-round on a rolling basis (depending on the availability of international partners).

Where: Various Joni and Friends International Locations

Interns serving with Joni and Friends internationally in their country of origin will have the unique opportunity to gain an insider’s view of a non-profit disability ministry. Working as part of the Joni and Friends team, every intern will use their gifts and talents to further ministry to people living with disability.

Our desire is that every intern is adopted into the family and culture of Joni and Friends. This internship will not only involve daily tasks and projects, but also intentional times of training and mentorship. Each intern will be paired with a Joni and Friends staff member and an in-country partner who will provide guidance and direction, harmonizing the intern’s work with their skillset and area of interest. Through this experience, interns grow as leaders, hone practical skills, and gain theological insight, all of which prepare them to take the next steps in their faith and professional life.

Varies by duration, location, and set-up (in person/virtual/hybrid)

College credit may also be available depending on the requirements of your university.
