Cost: $3,320; the cost for this outreach is all-inclusive; however, any pre-outreach vaccination requirements are the responsibility of each individual traveler. Outreach costs may vary for applicants outside of the 48 contiguous United States.

Payment deadlines: $350 Deposit (December 1, 2025), Remaining Balance (February 1, 2026)

Teaching Faculty of the DPT Department of Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas will be instructors at a wheelchair fitting and adaptation seminar for South American therapists and church leaders. Hosted by Joni and Friends Chile, this opportunity will prepare volunteers for future wheelchair distributions in their countries.

After completion of the seminar, participants will be mentored as they apply their wheelchair fitting and adaptation skills. They have opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus by meeting real needs through therapeutic intervention and education. In application of their new knowledge, South American professionals will serve people living with disability through a Joni and Friends wheelchair distribution in Santiago, Chile.
