Global Missions Internship: Guatemala (Guatemala City)

March 6, 2027 - March 13, 2027

As an intern participating in the Spring Break Guatemala trip, you will use your gifts and skillsets to serve people living with disability in an international context. Whether you’re majoring in counseling, special education, therapy, or ministry or you are a person with great organizational, photography, or writing skills, come ready to join a great team and provide the hope of Jesus to people with disabilities.

“I feel like I have more experience with people with disability. But more than equipping me, I feel like interacting with people with disability in Guatemala showed me areas I need to improve in how I interact with and treat other people [like] trying to communicate with the Spanish I know while not being afraid of misunderstandings and other awkward moments. Spending time with people with disabilities overseas opened my eyes to how prevalent disability is in every nation, and how it’s difficult to live with disabilities regardless of what country you live in.” Intern – Andrew Johnson, LeTourneau University.
