Disability Resource & Respite — Southern California
October 3, 2026 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Join us for a parent and caregiver respite event. We are honored to provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive respite experience for families living with disability.
From 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., caregivers are invited to our Special Needs & Trust workshop led by Joseph Lee on legal advocacy concerns in caring for children, young adults, and medically fragile individuals living with disabilities. From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., caregivers are encouraged to rest, run errands, enjoy quiet time, or simply recharge.
Participants in the respite program will enjoy engaging activities, games, fun, and fellowship with our caring volunteers. Registration includes dinner for all participants (kids, young adults, and siblings).
Respite care is available at no cost to participating families. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
- Respite care check-in opens at 4:00 p.m.
- Special Needs & Trust workshop between 4:00 p.m – 5:00 p.m
- Pick-up and dismissal at 7:00 p.m.
