Church Training: Pathway to Disability Inclusion – South Carolina (Effingham)

Over 20% of people in the U. S. live with a disability. How can your church become a place of hope, dignity, and belonging for these individuals and their families? Please join us as Russ Duncan from Joni and Friends comes to help answer that question.
This one-day training will assist you in structuring a plan for how to begin ministering to families living with disability as you:
- Consider God’s heart for people living with disability
- Reflect on your mission and those in your community living with disability
- Look for barriers people living with disability face that keep them from participating in your church mission
- Create a plan that will help remove barriers so individuals and families living with disability can fully participate in your church
We look forward to helping mobilize your church so that you can more effectively evangelize, disciple, and serve alongside people living with disability!
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and lunch will be provided!
