After School Program – Joni’s House East Saint Louis

The Joni's House East St. Louis respite program is designed to provide short-term care for children and adults with disabilities, giving caregivers a much-needed break. Our mission is to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where participants can thrive while their families enjoy time for rest and rejuvenation.
Joni's House's after-school program serves children ages 5 to 21 with physical, intellectual, developmental, or emotional disabilities. Through Christ-centered, adaptive teachings and interactive activities, participants will enjoy a fun and enriching time!
Our programs are led by qualified caregivers trained in disability care and certified in CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Prevention Intervention.
Join our Joni's House East St. Louis respite program as a volunteer. Whether you are a parent or caregiver, or simply have a heart to serve, you can demonstrate the hands-on love and care of Christ to people with disabilities in our community.
