The Way Out of Hardship
Will God ever give you more things than you can handle? Well, first Corinthians 10:13 says that he “will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.”
But, I’ll tell ya, when pain leaves me breathless, I’m thinking, “this is far more than I can bear!” And it’s why I’m so glad there’s more to First Corinthians 10; it says, “But when you are tempted (or tested) he will provide a way out so that you can endure it.” And I’m convinced that “way out” are the promises of God.
When my hardships are far more than I can handle I draw on every promise God offers. Strength. Hope. Endurance and more. Friend, God will give you many things you cannot handle. But he can handle them. Our great Savior always comes through on every word in every one of his promises. And he guarantees it!
