The Glorious Day Ahead

It’s it interesting isn’t it how we make heaven all about… us? Seeing our loved ones. Being freed from our suffering. Receiving our eternal reward. But when it comes to heaven, it won’t be your day, or my day — “the Day of Joni” – no, no, no, we won’t be in heaven to simply get back everything we’ve lost and then some. Rather, it’ll be “the Day of Christ.”

His day, his coronation. And you and me? Well, we will be his bride, his gift, enriching his inheritance, worshiping his glory, and making him famous all throughout the universe.

And the fun part? He’s gonna share the joy of his day, his victory, and his triumph… he’s going share it with us. Oh, what a glorious day that’ll be. So, for now, here on earth? Oh friend, obey him, delight in him, get to know him. Cause it’ll make heaven more glorious for Jesus and more joyful for you.
