I lost that ability from nerve damage.… “God, really? I ‘liked’ having some use of my arm. What ‘are’ you thinking?” Well, instead of grumbling (it gets you nowhere), I went to the first verse of Romans 12: “In view of God’s mercy, offer your bodies as a living sacrifice.” In other words,… If, in mercy, Jesus sacrificed ‘his’ body on the cross, I am to offer ‘myself’ as a living sacrifice. ‘For’ this’ is pleasing in God’s sight,” it says. And at every meal, I do just that. Whenever someone feeds me? I bless their hands, because… It’s pleasing in God’s sight.
