Evil Unrestrained?

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Romans 8:28

Most likely, you’ve heard me say, “God permits what He hates to accomplish what He loves.” But… The idea of God allowing bad things to achieve good ends doesn’t sit well with many Christians. But think of the alternative.  Imagine a God who did ‘not’ permit the smallest details of your sorrow or suffering. What if God took a hands-off policy toward the tragedies swimming your way?  Think what this would mean. The world would be much worse for everyone.  If God did not control evil, then evil would come barreling ‘at’ you, uncontrolled. Think of Lucifer unrestrained.  Left to his own, the devil would make us ‘all’ like Job. So… Praise God that He and He alone is in complete control for your good and His glory.
