Amazed at Jesus
“For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.”
Colossians 1:16
Stop and think of Jesus, the Creator of billions of galaxies, each having millions of stars. Think of his innumerable supernovas, quasars, and black holes in his universe, all the way down to the trillions of tiny microbes in the black dirt of his earth. Then there’s earth itself (not even a floating speck of dust compared to these other things). And Jesus is the creator of all of ‘that’… Jesus, the one who spoke to the raging sea, and immediately, suddenly, it listened to him. Winds and waves obeyed.. Like, Who ‘is’ this Almighty one who sustains everything by his word? Well… He’s the one who knows your name, your heartbeat, he numbers your hairs, and gave his blood so that in his presence you might have the fullness of his joy. Think on that… And be amazed at Jesus.
