Pour It All Out
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and I love the Bible story of Mary, Martha’s sister, who poured out her little jar of priceless perfume on Jesus. It was a family treasure and she could have kept it to herself; she could have put it on the shelf; saved it for a rainy day. But without a thought, Mary poured out her treasure on the one and only one who was worth it all and more! Now, that speaks to me. Because there’s something about “pouring it all out” in service, devotion and love to Christ that makes your life truly fragrant. Friend, what are you holding onto tightly? You’ve got gratitude you can offer; you’ve got smiles you can give; time; you can give treasure; words of encouragement. Pour it all out today. Because those words, your time, talent and treasure will transform into the sweetest, most fragrant offering. All because you have lavished it on the One who is really worth it all.
