I Have Resolved
“For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.”
1 Corinthians 2:2
The New Year is upon us, and people are already making resolutions. You commit to, stick your chest out, hold in your belt, and resolve to…change (your diet, exercise routine, weight, whatever). But you ‘know’ how ‘that’ usually goes. By February? You’ve slipped back into the old routine. Resolutions for the new year aren’t ‘always’ profitable. But ‘one’ resolution ‘is.’ The apostle Paul writes in First Corinthians chapter 2, “” I resolved to know nothing… except Jesus Christ and him crucified.” ‘That’ is the one resolution that’s worth keeping all throughout the new year. So, as we begin a new season, make Paul’s resolution, your own. Resolve to know Jesus Christ better, especially his work on the cross. And it’ll make your new year… Great!
