Prayers Please
Sometimes while recording radio programs, my friend Rainey ‘helps’ my diaphragm by squeezing me around the middle so I can breathe better. It is especially helpful when I am singing. As I think about it, I’m amazed at how many things need to fall into place to assure a successful radio recording day. But God has been faithful and that’s why I am so thankful for your prayers – your intercessions are the most important part of a fruitful day of recording! There’s not a day I wheel into the studio that we do not ask for your prayers, and God has been answering your petitions for a long time (the month of May will mark our 35th year of radio… incredible!). Tomorrow we begin recording for our 2017 programs and, once again, I’ll be relying heavily on your help. You know the drill: pray for a good night’s sleep, lots of energy, full breath, and a strong voice.
“The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results” (James 5:16)
Bless you for being such a great partner in prayer!
