You’ve Got A Friend
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and we all know the searing pain of losing a precious loved one. A husband, wife, a child or even a close friend. And Jesus understands that same searing pain of losing a loved one. ‘Cause think of it. Matthew chapter 26 poignantly shows how Jesus lost every single friend he ever had on his road to the cross. The fact is, all friendships end, at least for a time. But Jesus, the only friend who sticks through everything with you, is closer than even a brother. So… have you lost a friend? Maybe to cancer? Or, your friend moved out of state? It’s hard to lose someone precious, isn’t it? But remember, Jesus one day himself will wipe away those tears, restore those friendships that you have lost. He’ll give you back those we hold near and dear. In heaven? Those friendships will never die; they’ll just keep growing. And that is great news if you’ve lost a precious friend.
