Your Malachi Moment
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and living in this wheelchair – oh, do I miss running and skipping and dancing and leaping. My paralyzed legs haven’t worked for decades, and I can barely recall what it was like to stand up. But one day when I go to be with Jesus, I’m gonna stand up on glorified feet and ankles and legs! But I won’t stand around for long. I’m gonna be like Malachi 4:2 where it says that on that glorious Day, the door’s gonna be flung open and you and I will “go out and skip…like calves released from the stall.” Can you picture it? Imagine little calves all penned up in a corral, and when the gate is opened? They go bounding out, running and skipping, dancing and leaping. It’s a promise to you and me from Malachi chapter 4.
