There Flows A River
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and Ezekiel chapter 47 describes a fascinating but strange vision of God’s temple. Because out from underneath the temple door flows a trickle of water. Then, the trickle becomes ankle-deep. And then, knee-deep. A little further on, and it’s up to the waist and finally, it is a river so deep, that you cannot cross it. And here’s the neat thing: Ezekiel says that this river, whether a trickle or super-deep, it brings life to everything it touches. Now, God inspired Ezekiel 47 to encourage you. Because you may be a brand-new believer with a very shallow faith that’s only a trickle; or a mature believer with deep faith like a mighty river. But however deep your faith, you can bring life to everything you touch. Why? Because Jesus is that living water in you. And He intends that you keep flowing and growing in Him. Bring His life to the people you touch today.
