Regard For The Weak

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and there’s a global crisis on the rise. COVID-19 has caused many shortages around the world, and starvation is on the increase. This crisis is hitting the poor, and especially those who are poor and disabled. One out of every seven individuals in the world has a disability, and that number is dramatically rising. Children with disabilities are invisible in this pandemic; they are at the very bottom of the social ladder. But Psalm 41 says, “Blessed are those who have regard for the weak.” Would you please be someone who has regard for the weak during this crisis? Your commitment to the cause of Christ among the world’s neglected gives hope in Jesus. So today, join our Luke 14 Project at joniandfriends.org and help push back the darkness and the desperate plight of the world’s disabled. Join us at joniandfriends.org.
