Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and I’ve always believed that those who suffer greater conflict really have something encouraging to say to those who suffer lesser conflict. For instance, I was watching a few videos we were getting ready to post about Family Retreats and Wheels for the World on our Joni and Friends’ YouTube channel yesterday. And after I watched them, I found myself in tears – I was so inspired by the smiles of these disabled kids; so uplifted just watching the volunteers fit disabled people to our wheelchairs overseas. And, hey, if I can be inspired as a quadriplegic (I mean, if those people bolster my spirits), oh my goodness, how much more inspired you’ll be.
