New Wheelchairs

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tadaand the other day I went down to see the Wheels for the World team (I mean, these friends do the best job of administrating the collection and delivery of wheelchairs overseas, and organizing teams and everything). While I was in their department, they showed me this wonderful little pediatric wheelchair that we are designing. It is small; it’s compact; it’ll grow with the child; the foot pedals will extend, and so will the wheel base. And we’re even working with a couple of prison restoration centers so that inmates can machine shop these new little chairs. It’s all to make certain that kids with disabilities, no matter how poor they are, receive the best. Why? Because that little chair represents a gift from Jesus Christ, and He always does what’s best. Learn more about Wheels for the World by visiting joniandfriends.org. Again, that’s joniandfriends.org. I’m Joni Eareckson Tada.
