My Inheritance
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and I am constantly asking God to open the eyes of my heart. Just like it says in Ephesians chapter 1. “Open my eyes, God, that I might know the hope to which I have been called, and the rich inheritance that is mine in Christ Jesus.” Oh, friend, one day you are going to share in the inheritance of Jesus Himself. You are a co-heir with your Savior. Isaiah 51 describes at least part of that inheritance when it says that, “The anointed of the Lord shall enter heaven singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Sorrow and sighing will fade away and we will be filled with joy and gladness.” Doesn’t that sound wonderful?! So, join me in safeguarding your inheritance. Don’t jeopardize it. Don’t diminish it or lessen it by doubting or disobeying. Today, even increase your inheritance by laying up your time, and your treasure, and your talent in heaven.
