Multitude Of Mercies
Sometimes, you are your own worst enemy. Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and if you’ve got a sensitive conscience, you know first-hand how much you need rescuing from yourself. It’s like Psalm 51 where the psalmist says, “For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.” Always seeing your sin? That’s painful; it’s humiliating. But take heart. Because for the multitude of your sins, God’s got a multitude of mercies. Tender mercies they are, compassionate kindnesses far exceeding what you deserve. To know your sin provides you an opportunity to confess, repent, and receive abundant mercy and compassionate grace. So, when was the last time you confessed a specific sin before God? Friend, it’s time to get clean, for God’s tender mercies are there to forgive. You only have to ask, and God is ready with mercy. I’m Joni Eareckson Tada.
