Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. I recently spent the afternoon with a friend who has an 18-month-old little boy. Benjamin loves balls and blocks, but most of all, he loves life. You show him something and it’s almost always, “Oh, wow!” For Benjamin, all of life is one big “Oh wow!” So exciting, so awe-inspiring! As I watched Ben’s enthusiasm, I thought of how great it would be if we could have that same, “Oh, wow” attitude about God. In Romans 7, Paul writes, “What a wretched man I am. Who can rescue me from this body of death?” Thanks be to God!…there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” In other words, “Oh, wow!” Friend, the less we make of ourselves, the greater God seems. And the more we make of God and get into his Word, well, the more we’ll find ourselves saying “Oh, wow!”
