Let The Word Richly Dwell
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And if others are to see us triumph over sin and be over-comers through suffering, then the Word of God must dwell in us richly. God’s Word cannot merely dwell in you; Colossians chapter 3 says that it should dwell richly within you. Luxuriantly; opulently.
Be filled to overflowing in the Word of God. Because God calls us to do some difficult things. And as small and weak as we are, never knowing what’s going to happen next, we need to know His promises and know that they are reliable.
When we’re suffering, we’re so prone to read God wrong. In difficult times, we default to thinking that God’s out to get us; He’s being unfair; that He doesn’t care that we’re in pain. Yet nothing could be further from the truth. And it’s why His Word needs to enjoy a rich home in our hearts.
So, today, get God’s Word dwelling luxuriantly within you. I’m Joni Eareckson Tada.
