Joni The Football

Hi, I’m Joni, and sometimes I feel a bit likewell, a football, being handed from one person to the next. Like when my husband had a lastminute change in flight time. It was too early to ask a friend to come help me, so I was alone for a few hours. And when a friend did come to get me into my wheelchair, she could not stay long. So, I had to ask another friend to come over for a few hours, until a neighbor could assist me with dinner. And that night, someone else had to put me to bed.

So you see, I really have to trust God when I’m being passed from one person to the next. And sure hope it’ll be a smooth handoff so I won’t get dropped. But I need not worryThe Bible says that God’s everlasting arms are underneath me, and with His hands, I’m no football. I’m the precious one for whom He died.

Friend, you can always trust God. With Him, there’s no fumbling in your future. I’m Joni Eareckson Tada.
