Jesus Loves Children
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and Jesus sure loves children. We see it throughout the Gospels. In Mark chapter 10, Jesus says that we cannot even enter God’s Kingdom unless we do it as a little child. And Jesus not only expressed His love for kids in words — but He did it through His works and miracles. Jesus healed the son of the official in Capernaum; He raised the daughter of Jairus from the dead; and, He even fed five thousand people with fish and bread provided by a little boy. And because Jesus had such a heart for boys and girls, we ought to as well. Whether it’s your own child, your niece, nephew, or your little neighbor who plays outside, find a way to share the love of Jesus with a child you know. Reach out with a Bible story, a song, or connect their parents to your church’s summer camp. Today, show a child the love of Christ. It’s the happiest kind of work in God’s Kingdom.
