God’s Occupational Therapy
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and years ago when I was a new quadriplegic, I learned an important lesson in occupational therapy. I learned to work with what I had, to use muscles in a whole new way to make up for ones that were useless. And in the same way, God is in the occupational therapy business; He’s been so for years. He comes to weak people and works with what they have! No matter how weak or limited God’s people are, no matter what little they have to offer, He works wonders with what we give Him! Oh, sure, you may think you have very little, but Jesus takes delight in watching us trust Him with whatever we’ve got, no matter how small or insignificant. So, what have you got? Well, whatever it is, even if a short list, start applying it to the needs of the hurting people around you, and God will take care of the rest. After all, it’s His business!
