Giving Your Time
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and generosity is not only a wonderful attribute of God’s; generosity is wonderful when we see it in the lives of others. Everyone loves a generous person who enjoys giving. Luke 6:38 says, “Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Ah, but please don’t think Luke chapter 6 is talking only about finances. No, it’s talking about God’s delight in richly rewarding those who invest everything – their time and their talents – in Christ’s kingdom. And if you would like God to give you His good measure of grace, pressed down, running over, come and volunteer with Joni and Friends, whether at a Family Retreat or on a Wheels for the World team. Joni’s 70th Birthday Fundraiser!
October 15th marked a big milestone for Joni. She turned 70! With every year, she is working harder to reach more people with disabilities for Christ and so, the rest of October, she is looking for more friends to donate $70 dollars each to Joni and Friends to serve more people living with disabilities worldwide!
