Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and aren’t you glad that Jesus paid it all? All the offenses we’ve committed are paid in full. We can’t be accused, tried or condemned — it’s been taken care of on the cross. I thought about this when I came across a wording used in President Richard Nixon‘s pardon. He used the words, full, free and absolute.” Nixon didn’t have to go to jail and no one could condemn him because his pardon was taken care of back in 1974 in a Presidential Proclamation by Gerald Ford. But how much more wonderful is the full, free and absolute pardon for all the transgressions we have committed. So, look, the devil today sure would like to condemn you, and for certain he’ll do his best to make you feel guilty for sins from which you’ve already repented, but, hey, your punishment was taken care of on the cross. Jesus paid it all.
