Fuel for the Day
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and you know, there are certain verses from the Bible that are fuel for the day. Like Philippians 4:13 which says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Obviously I cannot do all things – and you can’t either. But I can do something about my attitude toward the things I am able to do. It’s when we take our focus off our “can’t do” list and fix our eyes on Jesus that we see Him as our power supply. Deep and abiding devotion to the Lord energizes service that is tiring or rigorous. Affection for Him gives boundless joy to every responsibility. Fervent love for Jesus takes the squeamishness out of every duty that’s distasteful. Friend, you can handle everything God expects you to when you get your fuel for the day from a deep and personal union with Christ. I can do all the things God expects me to do… and you know what? You can do them with a smile.

A Biblical Understanding of Justice for the Oppressed

Listen as Pastor Kempton Turner joins the conversation about divine justice and how to demonstrate love in action to those who are hurting.
