Embrace Life With Autism
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. One of our senior leaders at Joni and Friends is the father of three boys with autism. Greg and his wife Gina were starting their family when they noticed their son Zachary was not developing in a typical way. Soon their other son Tyler was showing the same symptoms. Three years later, another son joined the family, and he, too, was diagnosed with autism. I cannot begin to describe the challenges, but Greg and Gina are amazing examples of how suffering produces perseverance and that, in turn, develops hope. At first, many churches refused to embrace their family, but Greg and Gina helped these churches slowly change into places that welcome families like theirs.
