Double the Blessing

“The Lord is good to all.”  Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And that verse in Psalm 145 reminds me of Agnes from Romania. Agnes and her husband hobbled into our wheelchair distribution center using a rickety old pair of crutches. Well, it took no time for our physical therapist to examine her and provide a new pair of crutches. Agnes was thrilled. But the therapist felt that this woman could do a lot more, and so, she fit her with a new walker! Agnes was overjoyed – she came hoping for one thing and, yes, received it. But then, God gave her so much more than she ever dreamed. That day, the couple even heard about God’s divine grace—and they accepted Christ as their Savior.
