Daily Renewal
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and don’t you love walking out your front door and seeing fresh dew on your grass, like a thousand little diamonds sparkling in the sun? Morning dew always speaks of something new, something not left over from yesterday. And God’s Word speaks about this very thing. In Hosea He says, “I will be as the dew unto Israel: [my people] will blossom like flowers…; They will be alive with new growth, and beautiful like olive trees. They will be fragrant like the cedars of Lebanon.” Don’t you love that? God created morning dew as a metaphor for Himself. And He wants to make you alive, blossoming with new growth; He wants to make your life beautiful and fragrant. Friend, that’s a description of what God wants to do in you! So, let God be your morning dew; go to Him and He will bring fresh, fragrant, beautiful renewal into your soul, like a thousand little diamonds.
