Be Kind
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada with something to say about kindness. Proverbs 20 describes the kind of leader God loves. It says: “Mercy and truth preserve the king, and by lovingkindness he upholds his throne.” Kindness is something that obviously even kings should do. It’s important stuff. What’s more, kindness is listed as a fruit of the Spirit. It is an overflow of a Spirit-filled life! To be kind is to do something; a good deed whether great or small, planned or spontaneous; deeds that declare “God is good.” When a follower of Jesus does a kind act for someone, it shows that person how Jesus feels about them.
