All Things For Good
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and I’m sure you know Romans 8:28 like the back of your hand. You probably quote it often: “For we know that all things are fitting together into a pattern for good to them who love God and are called according to His purpose.” Isn’t that a wonderful promise?! But, it is a promise with a condition; it has strings attached. Because God promises in Romans 8:28 that He will fit everything together for good – now here comes the condition – for those who love God, for those who know they are part of God’s family. All things fit together for good in the lives of those who follow Jesus. And that is an important condition!
So, as the Bible says, make your calling and election sure. Examine your life and be certain you are living for Christ and not for yourself. Make sure you meet the condition of Romans 8:28. Be one who loves God.
