Adoption And Family Retreat
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada with an adoption story. Six years ago, Brad and Colleen started coming to Joni and Friends Family Retreat, and they served as volunteers. They wanted to help special-needs families; but while there, they also met moms and dads who had adopted kids with disabilities. Well, after they went home, they decided to do the same thing. And so now? Brad and Colleen have four adopted children. Colleen said to me, “Joni, if you had not started this ministry over 40 years ago, we might not have our kids. Joni and Friends was so instrumental in our decision to adopt little ones with special needs. And we’re so grateful.” I’m grateful, too.
