A Decision Man

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and I just bet you want your testimony in Christ to really influence others, right? I know I do. When I spend time with people, I want God to use my life, my words, my actions, to help them, comfort them, convict them, or reprove, encourage, and do so much more to them. And I take my lead from Jim Elliot, the missionary who lost his life on the mission field. He said, “Father, make of me a crisis man. Bring those with whom I make contact, bring them to decision. Let me not be a milestone on a single road, but make me a fork [in that road], that men must turn one way the other by facing Christ in me.” Wow! Those inspiring words are echoed in Joshua 24 where God says, “Choose this day whom you will serve.” Today, may your life be a fork in the road for those you encounter. May they turn toward Jesus Christ because they have spent time with you.
