North Carolina Overnight Respite

Joni and Friends Overnight Respite provides a rich, Christ-centered experience for children living with disabilities to enjoy a safe, accepting, and fun full-care experience while parents and caregivers take a well-deserved break.

Joni and Friends understands that families living with disability need respite. A recent Joni and Friends survey identified respite care as the number one unmet need among special needs families. Many parents and caregivers who lack respite care options have to “just keep going,” despite exhaustion, isolation, and discouragement. That’s why Joni and Friends created Overnight Respite, a program that gives parents and caregivers an overnight break from the relentlessness of disability, knowing their loved ones are well cared for.

Trained medical staff will be onsite at all times. This event is available to children ages 6-17.
