Our Joni’s House East St. Louis respite internship is a unique opportunity to invite God to work through interns’ time, hands, and hearts to make an eternal difference in the lives of individuals living with disability. Interns enjoy the opportunity for hands-on experience serving people with disabilities while bringing Gospel hope to our respite program participants and their families.

Through our existing respite program, interns will spend the morning serving the participants by assisting with sharing a Bible story and facilitating music time, crafts, and other activities. The afternoon will provide time for the students to support the staff by helping bring needed organization to the new facility.
