DESCRIPTION:Individual interns serving with Joni and Friends will have the unique opportunity to gain insight into the inner workings of a non-profit\, disability ministry environment. \nWhen: Varying durations\, year-round on a rolling basis (depending on the availability of U.S. Area Ministry offices) \nWhere: Various Joni and Friends U.S. Ministry Office locations \nProfessional ExperienceInterns serving with Joni and Friends will have the unique opportunity to gain an insider’s view of a non-profit disability ministry. Working as part of the Joni and Friends team at a U.S. Area Ministry office\, interns will gain perspective of our unique culture of integration across our departments and field offices across the country. Every intern at Joni and Friends will use their gifts and talents to further ministry to people living with disability.Training and Mentoring\nOur desire is that every intern is adopted into the family and culture of Joni and Friends. This internship will not only involve daily tasks and projects\, but also intentional times of training and mentorship. Working as part of the Joni and Friends team\, every intern will use their gifts and talents to further ministry to people living with disability.Training and Mentoring\nOur desire is that every intern is adopted into the family and culture of Joni and Friends. This internship will not only involve daily tasks and projects\, but also intentional times of training and mentorship. Each intern will be paired with a Joni and Friends staff member and an in-country partner who will provide guidance and direction\, harmonizing the intern’s work with their skillset and area of interest.
