Increase Our Faith!
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and isn’t it interesting how faith in Christ is easier once you’ve overcome suffering? I mean, yeah, your faith is a gift from God, but it can be enlarged; your faith can grow; it can become stronger. Like, whenever I am suffering hard and feeling overwhelmed by trials, I cry out, just as the disciples did in Luke chapter 17, saying to Jesus, “Increase my faith!” Because when I am suffering, I need a larger capacity to believe God more. My soul needs to be stretched so I can trust Jesus more. And the good news? When we are suffering, God wants to increase our faith; He will give us a larger capacity to trust Him; He’ll be happy to stretch the square footage of your soul for Himself. So, if you are going through a tough trial, be an overcomer. Ask God to increase your faith so you can trust Him through the hard times. And today, He’d love to help you do just that.
